At Chung & Press, we advise and represent a wide range of clients, from individuals facing a variety of legal issues, to entrepreneurs and small businesses, to some of the nation's largest companies. The firm serves clients in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., as well as clients throughout the United States and worldwide.
The founders of Chung & Press began their legal careers with large law firms in Washington, D.C., prior to establishing Chung & Press, P.C. in 1993. These law firms provided substantial training in the areas of litigation, intellectual property, environmental law, government contracts, commercial law, real estate and international law. More importantly, however, this experience instilled within them the importance of providing a quality work product and aggressively representing the interests of the client. While we have the experience that the bigger firms can offer, we also have the flexibility that they lack. We left the downtown firms to be able to cut costs, eliminate bureaucracy, and provide aggressive, innovative legal services to our clients at a reasonable cost.
Chung & Press, P.C. continues to emphasize the same philosophy of providing quality services to its clients, regardless of the nature of the matter undertaken. We incorporate a large firm mentality of providing superior legal services, while working to provide a higher level of personalized attention characteristic of our small firm. We do not over-staff cases with unnecessary personnel. Instead we utilize our experienced attorneys to provide streamlined, cost efficient legal representation.
When faced with any legal problem, one of the most important decisions is the hiring of a law firm. We at Chung & Press, P.C. have tried to make this process a little easier. The firm's policy is to provide a potential client with the most thorough evaluation of the merits of a case as possible. As a part of this process, the firm strives to present a realistic estimate of the fees and costs that will be incurred, allowing the client to make an educated decision on how to proceed. The firm will consider alternative billing arrangements to reflect the client's needs, including contingent fees, split contingent fees, success fees, hourly fees, and other arrangements.
During the representation, the firm will continue its efforts to keep the client informed of all developments in the case in order to ensure that you can be confident that Chung & Press has the matter under control.
