Angela L. HartMs. Hart practices primarily civil litigation, including business and commercial litigation, construction law, intellectual property, and personal injury in state and federal courts in Maryland and Virginia.
Ms. Hart previously served as a staff attorney with the American Prosecutors Research Institute in Alexandria, Virginia. At APRI she helped develop national training curricula for prosecutors and law enforcement officers on the investigation and prosecution of domestic violence and sexual assault crimes, including the use of DNA evidence and drug-facilitated sexual assaults. Ms. Hart attended the University of Richmond where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in English. Ms. Hart received her law degree magna cum laude from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the bars of Maryland, Virginia, the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Maryland and the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
