Juan Chardiet (of-counsel)
Mr. Chardiet practices primarily Intellectual Property and complex civil litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, trade secrets and domain name matters. He also maintains a substantial practice in Internet gaming law, international transactions, licensing and joint ventures, and general corporate and business law.

Mr. Chardiet was born in Havana, Cuba, from where he immigrated at age 5, and speaks fluent Spanish. He is a member of the board of directors of the McLean Bar Association, including serving as President in 2006. He is also general counsel for the Association of Bay of Pigs Veterans and the Brigade 2506 Association, and a member of CABA, the Cuban American Bar Association.

Mr. Chardiet received his B.A. in Philosophy from Florida International University and his J.D. from Antioch University School of Law. He holds an L.L.M. in International Law from the American University, Washington College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the D.C., Federal, Fourth and Eleventh Circuits, the U.S. District Courts for the District of Columbia, the Eastern District of Virginia, the District of Colorado, the Eastern District of Michigan, Eastern District of Missouri, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the Court of Federal Claims.
